How referee was shot died after after showing player red card in Argentina


–  A referee was killed in Argentina
– The incident took place in the Cordoba district
– The killer is still on the run
According to the Mirror,  a young player shot a referee after he showed him a red card. The player shot César Flores three times, hitting him in the head, chest and neck
.
Furthermore, Walter Zarate, another player, was also hit in the chest by a bullet and was taken to hospital.
The local Police states that the man being sought for the fatal shooting had the gun in his backpack and ran on to the pitch during the match
A police spokesman explained:  “It all happened during the match. We don’t know what happened with the referee but the player was angry and went to get his gun and killed him.”
The attacker is still at large and hunted by the police.
Meanwhile, Ibrahim Abubakar, the head of protocol for the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) was shot dead. The 43-year-old was murdered in cold blood by armed robbers in his home at Kado Estate near Gwarinpa, Abuja. The late NFF protocol officer, who was a graduate of political science at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, was married with three children.
