State commissioner for health Haruna Mshelia disclosed this on Sunday to the state deputy governor Usman Durkwa who visited the victims at the Specialists Hospital, Maiduguri.
He said 65 bodies were deposited at the Specialist Hospital, another 10 at the University Teaching Hospital, and 10 more were buried at Dalori village.
However, a rescue worker with one of the humanitarian agencies said over 100 people were killed.
A civilian joint task force operative, Hassan Aliyu, said more than 100 people died, noting that the insurgents shot sporadically and people ran for safety.
He said a bomb detonated by a suicide bomber caused the high casualty.
The terrorists reportedly arrived at the village in a convoy of Golf vehicles and motorcycles, carrying explosives and petrol-bombs
